"Oh no he didn't!" Smith signs with the Ravens

Earlier this week Orlando Ledbetter had reported that the Falcons would not be signing Philadelphia free agent tight end, L.J. Smith. This news was verified today by an ESPN article reporting that Smith signed a one year deal with the Baltimore Ravens. What this means is that the Falcons have two remaining options. First, they could still sign a free agent tight end during the summer in the "second round" of free agency. Their second option, and the one that is looking to be the most viable for the Falcons, is to address their needs at tight end in the draft.
