A good read: Harry Douglas interview

Harry Douglas was recently interviewed by 790 The Zone. Among other things, he talks about the 2008 season as well as Matt Ryan's leadership abilities. In talking about Matt Ryan, he said "He was happy to have Ryan as his quarterback and that it was seldom that you find a quarterback, especially at 23 years old, that knows as much about the game and is as smart as Ryan." When asked about the Falcons organization, "he spoke of teams he'd been on in the past, in high school and college, who perhaps didn't have the most talent but because everyone on the team played together, did everything right, and knew their role they had success. He saw that right away with the 2008 Falcons." You can find more details of the interview here. It's nice to see that the Falcons organization is building not only around talent, but character as well. If the 2008 season has shown us anything, it's that character carries just as much clout as athletic ability.
